Abstract: The results showed that idebenone can delay the time of spasm onset and prolong the time of survival from acute cerebral ischemia in stroke-prone spontaneously hypertensive rats（SHRsp）.It can also reduce damages to the nervous system,increase body weight and improve the survival from stroke of SHRsp.
