Abstract: Aim\ To observe changes in QT dispersion（QTD） during the reverse of hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy（LVH） and to evaluate various methods of QTD measuerment.\ Methods\ With various methods QT dispersions of 27 nonLVH and 32 LVH men were measured respectively.After 6month antihypertensive treatment. The QT dispersion was examined and compared with that in baseline.\ Results\ QTac and QTc dispersion（QTacD,QTcD）,QTa and QT standard deviation（QTaSD, QTSD） all increased significantly in correlation with left ventricular mass index（LVMI） in LVH group, and decreased after treatment.\ Conclusion\ Persistent antihypertensive therapy could both improve LVH and QTD.\ QTaSD and QTacD are presumed to be more reliable indexes.
