Abstract:
Objective To analyze the risk factors of hypertension in Fuxin rural area of Liaoning Province,and to provide evidence for the prevention of hypertension. Methods The baseline data of 45 135 subjects in the survey about hypertension and risk factors in Liaoning Fuxin rural areas by General Hospital of Fuxin Mining Group in 2010 were used. By using the theory of factor space,the life habits of the survey population and other diseases were taken as condition factors,and hypertension was taken as result factor. The risk factors were obtained by factor analysis,and the risk factors were sorted according to the information gain. Results The prevalence of hypertension in Fuxin rural area was 37.7%,it was higher in females than in males(38.6% vs 37.0%)and was higher in Mongolian than in Han nationality(41.6% vs 36.8%). The prevalence rate of hypertension increased with the increase of age. Eating salty food,greasy,family history of hypertension,hyperlipidemia,coronary heart disease history and body mass index(BMI)were risk factors of hypertension.According to the information gain,high salt diet was most important factor influencing hypertension,followed by the family history of hypertension. Conclusion In Fuxin rural area of Liaoning Province,high salt diet is the first risk factor for hypertension,followed by the family history of hypertension.
