Abstract:
Objective To investigate the prevalence of hypertension and its related factors in stroke inpatients. Methods A total of 28 523 stroke patients were selected in our hospital by Computer Platform of FusionInsight Hadoop(7908 cases with normal blood pressure and 20 615 cases with hypertension,16 366 male and 12 157 female). The genders, age, blood pressure, pulse pressure, homocysteine and other indicators were analyzed. Results The mean age of stroke patients was(54.6±16.8)years.In the patients,19 222 cases(67.4%)were ischemic stroke and 9301(32.6%)were hemorrhagic stroke. The patients with hypertension were more than patients with normal blood pressure(67.3% vs 32.7%in ischemic stroke patients,82.6% vs 17.4%in hemorrhagic stroke patients and 72.3% vs 27.7%in all patients). The patients in the age range of 60-<80 had the highest proportion and the age range of 45-<60 ones was second(47.9% vs 28.8%).86.1%stroke patients’ pulse pressure(86.1%ischemic stroke patients and 86.2% hemorrhagic stroke patients)were higher than normal values(≥40 mm Hg).And 92.7% stroke patients(92.8%ischemic stroke patients and 92.4% hemorrhagic stroke patients)had higher levels of homocysteine(≥10μmol/L). Moreover, the age, systolic pressure, pulse pressure and blood glucose showed significant positive correlated with stroke(the OR were 1.034,1.037,1.027 and 1.024 respectively,P<0.05). And the diastolic pressure was negatively associated with stroke(the OR was 0.983,P<0.05).Conclusions The stroke patients have higher levels of blood pressure, pulse pressure and homocysteine level.
