Abstract: In recent years, awareness of hypertension has continued to increase. However, insufficient attention has been paid to the issue of hypotension occurring in hypertensive patients. Hypotension is very common in this population, with diverse manifestations, varying causes, and significant harms, warranting greater attention and concern. This article discusses the overview, mechanisms, clinical presentations, and preventive measures of hypotension in hypertensive patients.
