A Study or Lipid Granules in Cytoplasm of Renomedullary Interstitial Cell of Spontaneously Hypertensive Rats

    Abstract
  • In order to investigate the relationship between renomedullary interstitral cell （RIC ） and hyportension ,we used 9 male spontaneously hypertensive rats （SHR ） and 9 male Wistar-Kyoto rats （WKY ）, 4 months old , with the blood pressure of 212. 68±6. 63 mmHg and 126.46± 2, 21 mmHg respectively, Renomedullary papilla was divided into four regions for light and electron microscope observations. Image analysis demonstrated that the number of the lipid granules in cytoplasm of RIC in each region of SHR was much less than that of WKY,especially in regions 1 and 2 . This experiment indieates that the deerease in the lipid granales in cytoplasm of RIC of SHR may be relevant to the development of hypertension.
