Effects of Metoprolol on Reversal of Hypertensive Left Ventricular Hypertrophy

Abstract

Abstract

Blood pressure, LVMI, PWTd, LVEF, SV and E/A ratio were evaluated in 368 hypertensive patients before and after 10 weeks treatment by metoprolol. After treatment SBP, LVMI and PWTd were obviously reduced. Indices of cardiac function were improved.
