Current status of hypertension control rate in China and reflections on the future path

  • This article elaborates on the current status of hypertension control rates in China. It points out that the level of hypertension control in China remains relatively low, falling below the global average and even further behind that of developed countries. In light of this, scientific strategies to improve hypertension control rates are proposed, with particular emphasis on the application of single-pill combination (SPC) therapy and the promotion of individualized treatment approaches. Currently, enhancing hypertension control rates presents both challenges and opportunities. Implementing theHealthy China 2030initiative, promoting scientific measures to improve blood pressure control and establishing standardized hypertension management models are of great significance for enhancing hypertension control rates.
